Wind energy is a critical source of renewable and environmentally friendly energy that has undergone significant growth in global capacity since 2000. UL has been closely involved in the development of wind energy. Today, we provide extensive research, measurement and support services focusing comprehensively on turbines and wind generation technologies, grid and energy storage interconnection, system reliability, safety certification and standards development.
